All Daughters Dinner

The All Daughters Dinner, sponsored by the Avon United Methodist Church Women, will be Saturday, May 13 at 6 p.m. in the Barn, 37711 Detroit Road. Adult tickets are $8, children 5 through 11 are $3, and under 5, free. Tickets can be obtained by calling the church office, 934-5121.

Investment club to meet

Avon Investment Club will meet Monday, May 15 at the Avon Branch Library at 10:30 a.m. Guests are welcome.

Veterans making plans

The Avon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7035 Auxiliary will meet Monday, May 15 at 7 p.m. and is joining the men's group in planning installation of officers scheduled for Thursday, May 25 at 7 p.m.

Scholastic awards ceremony

Avon High School will have its annual scholastic awards ceremony Monday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. In order to attend, students must be on the honor roll two of the three grading periods or have special recognition from a specific department.

Flower bed sale

The Avon Garden Club will have a flower bed sale Saturday, May 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Countryside Antiques, 36290 Detroit Road, Avon. Club members are offering hostas, irises, day lilies, herbs, ground covers, perennials and small shrubs.

Those interested in gardens can join the club at the regular meeting on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Avon Public Library.
