Fellowship breakfast planned

Men's Fellowship of the Avon United Methodist Church will meet Saturday, June 3 for breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on SR 254. Guests are welcome.

Veterans plan steak fry

The Avon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7035 will meet Thursday, June 8 at 8 p.m. to plan a steak fry. The steak fry is set for Father's Day, June 10, at 4 p.m. at the post home, 36950 Mills Road.

Make a picture frame

Sixth- through 12th-graders will enjoy making picture frames with paint, wire and beads at a free program scheduled for Friday, June 9 at the Avon Branch Library at 1:30 p.m. Sign up by calling 934-4743.

Car wash fund-raiser

The youth at the Avon United Methodist Church will be having a car wash Saturday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds go toward the Youth Sower Mission Trip.

Rebels potluck picnic

Autumn Rebels will meet at noon Tuesday, June 13 for a potluck picnic in The Barn, 37711 Detroit Road. Chicken and beverage will be furnished; bring dish to share. Adults 50 and older are welcome. Reservations may be made with Sis Wernert, 934 4445. The program will be Lee Alflen and her guitar.
