Estate planning seminar
EMH Regional Healthcare System will be hosting an Estate Planning Seminar at its Avon Center for Health & Fitness, 1997 Healthways Drive, Avon., Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, with featured speakers covering various topics. Play volleyball, basketball
The Avon Recreation Department is offering adult co-ed volleyball and men's basketball this fall. Any adults interested in playing co-ed volleyball Sunday evenings, can now register through Sept. 15. Any men interested in playing basketball Sunday afternoons can register now through Sept. 8. To be eligible, half the team roster must be people who either live or work in Avon. To register for either program, call Donna at 934-5044.
Fall antique festival
The Country Living and Antique Fall Festival will be Saturday, Sept. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the French Creek District Shops in Avon. There will be food, entertainment, sidewalk sales and flea markets. Call 934-6119 or 937-5204, for more information.
