Check out library hours
The Avon Branch Library will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, for Labor Day. The library will be open for Sunday hours starting Sept. 10, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Research Club to meet
The Avon Research Club will meet Friday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Peter Kratt. The program will be presented by guitarist Lee Alflen. Plans for 2000-01 will be discussed.
Choir boosters get together
The Choir Booster Club will meet Wednesday, Sept. 6, in the music department of Avon High School at 7 p.m.
Fall Festival
The French Creek Development Association's Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 10, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Throughout the French Creek District there will be antique and craft marts with music and food. For additional information, call 934-6119.
