PTA meeting Monday
Avon East Elementary School PTA will meet for their regular meeting Monday at 7 p.m.
First grade community project
First-grade students in Mrs. Lance's class at Avon Village School will start collecting cosmetic products from students and staff members on March 13, for distribution to area nursing homes. The project is under the sponsorship of BJ's Wholesale Club and Proctor and Gamble.
Library book sale
A book sale, sponsored by the Friends of the Avon Library, will be held at the Avon Branch Library Friday, March 17, from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 19, from 1 to 5 p.m.
