Library's yard sale

The Avon Branch Library will hold a yard sale Saturday, July 14, during library hours. There will be a large variety of hardback, paperback books and other collectibles.

Council work session

The Avon Council work session will be held Monday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. at Avon City Hall.

Centennial Village discussed

Avon planners will meet Wednesday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall at the corner of Center and Chester roads. They will be discussing the development of Centennial Village.

Free summer concert

The Patriots Symphonic Band, under the direction of Harry Pfingsten, will be performing Saturday, July 14, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at Avenbury Lake Concert in the Gazebo Area. The concert is free and open to the public. For more information, call Debbie at 933-8877.

Avon Fine Art Festival coming

The festival will be held July 21 and 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Detroit Road in the parking campus of Avon Commons.

Live entertainment will be provided by pianist Jeffrey Michael and sitarist Stephen Mikes.

Food pavilions serving local and exotic cuisine will also be available. For additional information, call Avon Commons at (216) 765-1065.
