Avon City Council work session will be held on Monday, June 18 in Avon City Hall, at 7:30 p.m.
Summer reading program
A special Summer Reading Program, ''Walkabout Australia,'' will be held at the Avon Branch Library, June 18 at 4 p.m. or 7 p.m., or Tuesday, June 19 at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. The free program will feature stories and a craft.
Join an investment club
The Avon Investment Club will meet on Monday, June 18 in the Avon Branch Library at 10:30 a.m. Guests are welcome.
Planning Commission meeting
Avon Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Avon City Hall at Chester and SR 83.
Annual city garage sale
Avon's Annual Aunt Teak and Uncle Junque City Wide Garage Sale is Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24. There will be antique sales, craft dealers and collectible collectors. The sale starts at 9 a.m. on both days.
