Entertainment Book sales
Avon Women's Club members are selling 2002 Entertainment Books that can be ordered from any member. They are also selling Avon Coverlets for $50 that can be ordered through Joan Ruffner, at 937-5039.
Participate in market day
Market ordering day at Avon Village School is Thursday, Dec. 6. Applications to participate in the program can be picked up ahead of time.
Come to Christmas at The Barn
Christmas In The Barn at The Avon United Methodist Church will be Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be Christmas cookies for sale, a light lunch, and over 50 crafts people on hand with specialties. Chairman Judy Bucher is looking for volunteers for the event and can be contacted at 934-2403. .
Development Association plans
The French Creek Development Association will meet for a brief session on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Lions Center on Eaton Drive at 7 p.m. Following adjournment, they will have dinner at Nemo's Restaurant, Detroit Road and SR 611. Reservations can be made by calling Dorrie Bommer at 937-7800.
