Kiwanis meeting canceled: The Avon Kiwanis Club will not meet Wednesday, Dec. 26, due to the holiday. They normally meet Wednesdays at 7:30 a.m. For additional information, call Roger Bemis, 934-3318.
Adult health clinic: The Lorain County Health Department's Adult Health Clinic will be at Avon United Methodist Church, Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 10 a.m.
Council meeting: Avon City Council's organizational meeting will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall, Center and Chester roads.
Avon Historical Society
Monday, January 7, 2002, at 7pm -- a presentation on "Approaches to Preserving Historic Structures." The speaker is Kathleen C. Crowther, Executive Director of the Cleveland Restoration Society.
