New library hours
The Avon Branch Library will be closed on Sundays during the summer months and will resume on Sunday, Sept. 9. The library will also be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
Induction ceremony planned
The first Hall of Fame induction ceremony, sponsored by the Avon Athletic Booster Club, will be Tuesday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. at Avon High School, at which time awards will be presented. Those being honored include Bill Chapman, 1968, Karin (Endrai) Jedick 1980 and Mark Wagar, 1969.
Family picnic, village run
Avon Village School will hold their seventh family picnic and village run through adjoining subdivisions on Friday, May 25, at the school, starting at 11:30 a.m. Friends and parents are invited.
Athletic boosters to meet
The next meeting of the Avon Athletic Booster Club will be Tuesday, June 5, at 7:30 p.m. in Room 212 of Avon High School.
