Rebels luncheon, speaker
Autumn Rebels will meet Tuesday, June 12, at noon in The Barn, 37711 Detroit Road, for a $6.25 catered lunch. All adults, 50 and older, are welcome. Patrick Smock will speak about Malleys Chocolates. Reservations should be made with Sis Wernert at 934-4445, three days before the meeting.
Summer post plans
The Avon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7035 will meet Thursday, June 14, at 8 p.m. to make summer plans.
Board of Education meeting
The Avon Board of Education will meet Tuesday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. in the Avon Middle School library.
Summer reading club
Summer Reading Club registration will be held at Avon Branch Library Monday, June 11, for preschool through fifth graders and a special program will be held at 7 p.m. Preregistration is requested, call 934-4743.

Avon Village and East elementary:
