Garden Club meeting: The Avon Garden Club will meet on tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library. The program will be a slide presentation ''Taking a Trip Through the Lorain County Metro Parks.'' For additional information, call 937-5237.
Outdoor education: On Wednesday, a special sixth grade parents' program, Outdoor Education, will be held at 7 p.m. at Avon Middle School.
Financial aid night: On Thursday, a Financial Aid Night will be held Avon High School for seniors and parents at 6:30 p.m.
Book group: The Adult Book Discussion Group will meet Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 2 p.m. in the Avon Branch Library. The book under discussion is ''Outlander,'' and copies of the book are available.
Fellowship meeting: The Men's Fellowship group of the Avon United Methodist Church will meet Saturday at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on Detroit Road and I-90 at 7:30 a.m.
Senior Citizens Commission: The Avon Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meet this week. Chairman of the group is Jim Schmitz. Committees for this year are being organized, including publicity, programs, membership, as well as a decision as to where future meetings will be held.
