Story times: Avon Branch Library preschool story times for children 3 to 5 years old will be at 6:30 or 7:30 p.m. Mondays, 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. Tuesdays or 1 p.m. Thursdays. Call 934-4743 to pre-register.

Veterans: The Avon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7035 will meet Thursday at 8 p.m. at the post home, 36950 Mills Road, at 8 p.m.

Deaf bible class: Faith Lutheran Church will hold a Deaf Bible Class tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., choir practice at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, and Good Friday Worship, 7:30 p.m. on Friday, with Easter Breakfast Worship, 8 a.m. on Sunday, with Festival Worship at 8:30 p.m.

Work session: Avon City Council will meet for a work session Monday, April 1, in Avon City Hall, Center and Chester Roads at 7:30 p.m.

`Reflexology' program: A program on ''Reflexology,'' sponsored by Avon City Recreation Dept. and Avenbury Lakes, will be presented at Avenbury Lakes Lodge on Tuesday, April 9, 35400 Middleton Road, Avon. For more information, call Bill Landers, 937-9387.

Rummage, bake sale: Spring rummage and bake sale will be Thursday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, Garden and Lakeland drives. A wide variety of household and useable items as well as homebaked food will be available.
