Blood drive: Faith Lutheran Church, 2265 Garden Drive, will host a blood drive Sunday. The bloodmobile will be in the driveway from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bible study: The evening bible study group of the Avon United Methodist Church, 37711 Detroit Road, has changed its meeting day to Tuesday nights starting tomorrow. The Book of Proverbs, ''Finding the Way of Life,'' will be used and continue through June 10. All are welcome.

Craft night: The Avon Women's Club will meet at 7 tonight at the Avon Community Center, 2185 Eaton Drive. The club will celebrate the Ohio Bicentennial with a craft night. Women of Avon are invited to join. Call Marge at 937 6616 for additional information.

Scrapbooking lesson: Learn the art of scrapbooking at The Avon Public Library 7 p.m. Wednesday. Those interested are urged to bring 10 photos to the program. A $5 materials fee will be charged. Pre-registration is required, and payment of the fee is due at that time.

Pancakes for breakfast: The Avon United Methodist Church Youth Group will host a pancake breakfast 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in The Barn. Tickets are $4 for adults, $2.50 for children ages 2 to 10 and free for children under 2.

Summer camp: The Pizzaz Baton and Pompom Group will conduct a summer camp program Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 8 to 22. Baton, pompom and combination classes will be offered. These classes are sponsored by the Avon Recreation Department. For more information, call Doreen Fischer at 937-1848.

Baby-sitting basics: The American Red Cross and the Avon Branch Library are offering a baby-sitting basics course 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, June 7 and 14. The course, targeted for 11- to 15-year-olds, teaches ideas for fun and games, infant and young child-care, safety and infant and child first aid.

Participants must attend both sessions to receive American Red Cross baby-sitting certification. Cost is $35, which includes a textbook and first aid kit. All students must pre-register by mailing in or dropping off payment to the American Red Cross, Lorain County Chapter, 2929 W. River Road N., Elyria, OH 44035. Class size is limited.
