Blood drive: There will be a blood drive at the Avon Library from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow. The American Red Cross will be on hand. To sign up, call (440) 322-7704.
Book talk: The Afternoon Book Discussion will be held at the Avon Library at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Copies of the book ''Kindred'' are available at the library. New members are welcome.
Toddler Time: A free story program for children 24 to 36 months old will be held at Avon Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday and Aug. 28 and Sept. 4. Preregister by calling the library at (440) 934-4743.
