Santa: There will be Christmas tree lighting at 6 pm on Saturday, 12-6-03, followed by Santa at the Gazebo, corner of Stoney Ridge and Detroit at 6:30 pm -- then across the street for Santa at the Old Town Hall at 7 pm.

If you want to help, the Old Town Hall is being decorated at 7 pm tomorrow (Tuesday), 12-2-03.

Seniors party: Avon Seniors Inc. will have its Christmas party Dec. 10 at the Avon Oaks Country Club. The general meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by after live entertainment. Tickets are $16 per person. Members and non-members should call Jane Richard at 934-6944, for tickets.

Family Night: All ages are invited to Family Night at the Avon Branch Library Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. The free program features activities, a story, a craft, and refreshments. Registration is required by calling the library at 934-4743.
