Story program: Sign up for Toddler Time, a free story program for 24 to 36 month olds and their parent or caregiver. The weekly spring story programs will be Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., beginning this week. Toddler Time features stories, activities and crafts. Pre-registration is required by calling 934-4743.

Women's club fund-raiser: The Avon Junior Women's Club will have its ninth annual fund-raiser, March Magic, Saturday at DeLuca's Place in the Park. Proceeds will benefit the Avon Band Boosters, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Northern Ohio Down Syndrome Society, The Women's Fund of Lorain County and the Avon Junior Women's Club scholarship fund.

Tickets are $35 in advance, which includes hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, dessert and entertainment and dancing throughout the evening. Tickets can be purchased by any AJWC member or by calling 934-3252 or 937-5695.

CPR class: The Avon Recreation Department will sponsor an adult heart saver CPR class April 8 from 7 to 9 p.m.; and a pediatric heart saver CPR class April 15 from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Avenbury Lakes Lodge, 35400 Middleton Ave., Avon. You must attend the April 8 class to attend the April 15 class. Cost is $5 and you must be at least 13 years old to attend. Show off your art: An Adult Art Show, sponnsored by the Friends of the Avon Library, will be held at the library during May. Anyone interested in displaying their art works should call Sue at 934-6764.

Book discussion: The Avon Mother/Daughter Book Group, will discuss ''100 Dresses'' at their meeting tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. in the Avon Public Library, 27475 Harvest Drive.

Stacking the decks: Avon Seniors Inc. will host a card afternoon tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. for seniors who would enjoy spending the afternoon playing cards. The event will be held at Avon Community Center. Those playing should bring their own cards.
