Fun, fun, fun: Relay races and pioneer day activities will end the weekly Summer Reading Program at the Avon Branch Library, Monday, Aug. 4 at 7 p.m. or Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. To register or for more information, call 934-4743.

Avon Seniors: The Avon Seniors Inc. meet monthly at Tom's Country Place, the second Wednesday at 10 a.m. On Aug. 13, the speaker will be Karen Franks, a nutritionist from EMH Regional Medical Center. She will discuss healthy eating habits for seniors. Raising Kane, a musical group from Parma, will perform Wednesday, Sept. 10. On Oct. 10, the jazz band from Avon High School will provide entertainment.

Rah, rah, rah: The final Little Flippers Cheerleading Camp of the season will be Aug. 7, 8 and 9, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Avon Isle. Kids entering grades one to six can participate in the three-day camp, which includes cheers, sidelines, tumbling, jumps, dances, skits and mounts. Parents are invited for a pep rally on the last day and kids will get a T-shirt that is used in the cheerleading program. Cost is $60. Call Kris at 937-6945, for more information or to register.
