It's family night: Families are invited to attend Family Night at the Avon Branch Library. The free program will be Thursday at 7 p.m. Family Night is open to 3-year-olds and up and will feature snowman stories, a game, a craft and refreshments. Pre-registration is required by calling the library at 934-4743.

Elementary:
Today: Hot dogs, fries, apple or orange, milk
Tuesday: Chicken nuggets, roll, mashed potatoes, peaches, milk
Wednesday: Pepperoni pizza, tossed salad, diced pears, milk
Thursday: Waffle dippers, tater tots, orange juice, milk
Friday: Macaroni and cheese, green beans, peaches, milk
Monday: Pepperoni hot pocket, baby carrots, pineapple bites, milk
Middle/High school:
Today: Choice of cheese-stuffed breadsticks with marinara, chicken caesar wrap, pasta bar, hot ham and cheese bagel, garden or fruit salad, seasoned green beans
Tuesday: Choice of pizza, egg salad sandwich, oriental bar, pizza burger, garden or chicken caesar salad, oriental vegetable blend
Wednesday: Choice of pepperoni stromboli, veggie bagel with humus, breakfast for lunch, foot-long hot dog, garden or cobb salad, hash browns, orange juice
Thursday: Choice of ham and cheese calzone, tuna salad croissant, home cooking bar, French dip sandwich, garden salad or veggie plate, garlic breadstick, steamed broccoli
Friday: Choice of stuffed-crust double cheese pizza, Santa Fe wrap, fajita Mexican bar, spicy chicken patty, garden or chicken taco salad, buttered corn
