Old-fashioned Christmas: The Isabella Guild, Knights of Columbus, Father Ragan Council 3269, will be holding an old-fashioned country Christmas dinner and dance Dec. 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. at the K of C Hall, 1783 Moore Road. There will be music and dancing with entertainment by the Isabella Players. Cost is $18 per person and $35 per couple. Paid reservations must be in by Dec. 14 to Helen Lowe, 2922 Shakespeare Lane, Avon, OH 44011. Donations of a new or gently used unwrapped toy will be accepted for an area shelter. Library meeting: The Avon Branch Library will have a special board meeting of the Library Services and Personnel Committee Wednesday at 5 p.m.
