City Council meet on Monday

Avon City Council will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. in Avon City Hall at the corner of Chester and Center roads.

Join investment club

The Detroit Road Investment Club will meet on Sunday, Aug. 8, in the parlor of the Avon United Methodist Church following the 11 a.m. service. Guests are welcome.

Make luncheon reservations

Autumn Rebels will meet on Tuesday, Aug. 10 at The Barn, 37711 Detroit Road, at noon for a catered luncheon. The cost is $5.95 and the program is 'Kitchen Kuties' directed by Clyde Mathews. Reservations must be made with Sis Wernert at 934-4445 by 9 a.m. the day before.

Investment club to meet

The Three B's Investment Club (Bears, Bulls, and Beyond) has changed its meeting dates from the first to third Mondays of each month beginning Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Avon Branch Library. New members always welcome.

Story programs for toddlers

Toddler Time, a story program for 2- and 3- year-olds and their parents or caregivers will be on Thursdays during August at 10:30 a.m. in the Avon Branch Library. Preregistration is required by calling the library at 934-4743.

Take a garden tour

Take a tour of Viola Free's garden, 2837 Center Road, Avon, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17. Guests are always welcome.
