Final stained glass window

The final stained glass window in the nine-window Thumbelina series by the library's south door will be dedicated Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library, 37485 Harvest Drive. The stained glass artwork is the result of a class project with students who are in the ICD Career Development program, and began in 1994 when the new building was opened. These students are members of the Steelworkers Union Local 1104 and Local 2354. During this project, the students were guided by Sherre Ferrato, owner of Verite Stained Glass of Avon. The dedication is open to the public.
