Open house: St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception School is hosting an open house Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The school will be open and the new kindergarten and eighth-grade teachers, as well as members of the St. Mary staff, will be on hand to answer questions. Crafts and treats: The Good Samaritan Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, 32900 Detroit Road, will be holding its Spring Fling Craft Fair and bake sale April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eight-foot tables are available and can be reserved by for $20. Space is limited and tables are on a first-come first-serve basis. Call Darla or Stephanie Beury at 937-6201.
French Creek Nature Center programs:
Call by Thursday if you want to want to learn how to make plastic grocery bags into a crocheting project on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. Bring bags and K or J hooks.
On Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m., amateurs and professionals alike can sing or play music in this monthly program with a cafe atmosphere provided by Cravings Cafe.
Elyria's Roosevelt School's art show opens Saturday and will run until April 30.
Call by Wednesday to take a course that meets Ohio Mandatory Boater Education Law on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pay $25 at the door.
